Our Service this week is led by our lay worker Judith Smith
We are open for Worship from Sunday 14th March see Stephen’s Message 11th March (below), also this weeks Reflection.
Dear All
I am pleased to say that the church is to reopen for worship this Sunday. If you wish to attend please note the email contact has not changed but the telephone number for booking has changed as Joan is unwell and isolating. We ask you note the change in arrangements so as not to disturb Joan and Michael for the time being. See separate information sheet post.
The need for temperature checks, to maintain social distancing, wear face coverings, not sing and not mingle before or after service remain in place.
There have been changes in some people’s circumstances since we were last open and we will need help with stewarding the services. If you are able to help some weeks, please let me or Pat Brown or Rev Alan Clark know.
Regards
Stephen

For each of the weeks in Lent Paul Davis, Chair of the Lancashire District, will be sharing a video on his journey through the season as he reflects on the themes and studies he is pursuing.
Each video will be stand alone and will pick up one area that has struck Paul in a different way. These will help us as we all face a different Lent and look forward to a new future and opportunity that we not only remember through Holy Week and celebrate with Easter, but also as we seek to be disciples in this new future.
Videos will be available on the District Website – https://www.lancashiremethodist.org.uk/

Fairtrade and Climate Change – Saturday 27th February 2021 at 1pm
Stefan Donnelly from the Campaigns Team at the Fairtrade Foundation will highlight the growing challenges that climate change brings to farmers and workers in the communities Fairtrade works with. The facts are straightforward. Farmers and workers in countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia and Honduras, who have done the least to contribute to climate change, are disproportionately affected by it. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/climate-fairtrade-and-you-tickets-141947156767
