Church activities 23rd – 25th January 2018

Do come and join in any or all of these activities. You will be very welcome.

TUESDAY 23rd, 2.15 for 2.30 pm. Mens Group. This week Rev Dr Adrian Burdon.

Tea and biscuits at 2.15 followed by Rev Adrian at 2.30 pm.

WEDNESDAY 24th, Ladies Fellowship 2.30 pm. This week David Harrison ‘Go West Old Man’

We are always looking to welcome new people so come along and give it a try whether you are by yourself or bring a friend.

WEDNESDAY 4 – 5 PM. is our regular Choir rehearsal in the Community Room. If you would like to join the choir come along and speak to one of the choir members or one of our organists Kevin Morgan or Nigel Ogden

THURSDAY 25TH 12 – 1 pm. Tai chi is back after a break last week. Come and join in this gentle exercise for all – nothing too strenuous. A very popular class.

Worship Sunday 21st January 2018 at 10.30 am

We would love to see you. do come and join us. The service generally lasts about an hour and then afterwards if you have the time, join us for coffee/tea & biscuits in the Community room.

Friday 19th January. Coffee Morning 10.30 – 12 pm.

Friday is coffee time. Come in out of the cold and join us in the Community room for coffee/tea & biscuits. We are always very busy with regulars, visitors and people on holiday. Stay a while or just call in, you will be very welcome. We regularly have about 50 or so people enjoying the company and coffee.

Worship Sunday 14th January 2018 at 10.30 am

This Sunday is our Covenant Service including Communion.

Worship led by Rev Alan Clark. Organist Mr Nigel Ogden.

The Covenant Service is a unique gift to Methodism from its founder, John Wesley: a moment for renewing our commitment to God’s hopes for us – affirming that we give our lives and choices to God – even as we celebrate all that God has done for us. The service is often held at the beginning of the calendar year or at the start of the Methodist ‘Church year’ (September).
