Palm Sunday 9th April
Palm Sunday commemorates Christ’s triumphant arrival in Jerusalem to the cheers of the crowd.
The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem,
Later in that week many of the people in that cheering crowd would be among those shouting that Jesus should be executed.
Palm Sunday Worship 10.30 am. 9th April
Join us for this Palm Sunday Service and for coffee in the Community room after the service if you are able.
Palm Sunday marks the start of Holy Week. It reminds Christians of the journey Jesus made into Jerusalem, on a donkey, to celebrate the Jewish festival of Passover. Jesus chose a donkey to show that he had come in peace.
Tai Chi Class Thursday 6th April 12 – 1 pm.
Our Tai Chi session is well attended and provides gentle exercise. New people are always welcome. Cost £1.50 suggested.
Have confidence, come and give it a try.

Come and join our Lenten discussions led by our minister the Rev. Dr Adrian Burdon. This is the 4th meeting of the series but each one is independent so even if you haven’t attended the others you can come to this one. The meetings are stimulated by audio/visual content.
