Friday 14th and Sat 15th September: Coffee Morning and Bake Sale

Friday Coffee Morning 10.30 – 12 pm.

It’s time for coffee/tea and biscuits again at our regular Friday Coffee Morning. do come along and give it a try. It’s busy and popular.  Just drop in or stay a while. We look forward to seeing you.

Saturday 15th September. Bake Sale 10 am – 12 noon

Admission £1.00 (including a drink). To raise funds to twin our toilets and support Graeme’s trip to Uganda with Tearfund. If you’re able to, please bring a donation of cake (it can be baked by you or bought from a shop). Donations for a raffle will also be welcomed. If you are baking a cake, please indicate if it contains nuts or if you make a special gluten-free one (just to avoid problems).

Events 12th, 13th September 2018

Wednesday 12th September 4 – 5 pm. Choir Rehearsal

Our regular Choir rehearsal takes place in the Community Room.  If you enjoy singing and would like to belong to a choir then come along and talk to Kevin or Nigel our two organists.

You will be very welcome.

Thursday 13th September Tai Chi 12 – 1 pm.

Gentle Exercise for all.  This is a very popular session. Why not give it a try?

Rev Adrian’s Welcome Service to Shaw/Royton Circuit

Rev Adrian’s Welcome Service as superintendent of the Shaw/Royton Circuit took place On Wednesday 5th August 2018.  Some from The Drive were there to support him.  Rev Katy Cunliffe is vicar of Holy Trinity Shaw/ Children & Young Families Missioner in Oldham East.

Church Events 5th, 6th September

Wednesday 5th September: Weekly Choir rehearsal in the Community Room 4 – 5 pm.

If you enjoy singing and are interested in joining a choir why not come along and have a word with Kevin (choir master) or one of the choir.

Friday Coffee 10.30 am – 12 noon 31st August

The last day of the month so come to the Drive and enjoy coffee/tea and biscuits at our regular, popular, Friday Morning coffee time.  Meet and chat with friends or enjoy a ‘quiet’ coffee.  Whether you come by yourself or with a friend you will be most welcome so if you haven’t been before why not give it a try.

There is also Ernest & Eileen’s stall where you may find that item you always wanted (and at a reasonable price).  Do come and have a browse.

Open Church from 11 am and short Service at 12 pm; Wednesday 29th August

Wed. 29th  August   Church is open at 11 am.

At 12pm we have a short Service

You are welcome to enter the Church from 11 and look around, or just attend for the service at 12 which lasts up to 30 mins.

The service is always appreciated by those attending so do join us, either from 11, or at 12 for the service, or both.

 Light refreshments, chat and fellowship in the Community Room available after the short service. Do come if you can.
