Please pray for Laura as she takes this important step in following Jesus. The General Church Meeting we had provisionally booked for the 21st April has been postponed and will be held as soon as restrictions allow us to come together for such a meeting. The ‘road map’ from the Government suggests this could be July. We will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you informed. Please remember the administrative life of the church in your prayers and in particular the District Synod as it prepares to meet on the 24th April by Zoom and to vote on the God in Love Unites Us report in preparation for a decision by Conference in June.
As the weather gets a little warmer and restrictions ease, may I remind you of the importance of keeping 2m distancing before, during and after worship.

My thanks to all who enabled the Services to go ahead in each of the churches over Easter and in all cases the churches were full as well as safe.
While restrictions are with us for some time yet, we are beginning to think about how and when church groups can safely open. Please make this a matter of prayer that God’s wisdom may guide our discussions and each of us may be sensitive to God’s calling as we begin to identify different roles and opportunities to serve our risen Lord in the weeks to come. If you would like to help and get more involved in the life of the church please get in touch.
