Dear Rev Adrian. Margaret and I attended a morning service at ‘The Drive’ Methodist Church during our visit in April this year. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the service and found the people to be a very friendly welcoming group. The fellowship during the after service coffee was also very good as we spoke to many people there including a chat with Nigel as I am a church organist (now retired full time but still help out at various churches in our area). As requested we signed your visitors book. I think is a ‘useful tool’ to find out where people come from especially as St Anne’s is a lovely place to visit. Now I know another reason – It was a lovely surprise today to receive a Christmas card with ‘best wishes from the minister and friends at The Drive’ . What a wonderful use of your ‘visitors book’. Please pass on our thanks and our Best Wishes for Christmas and New Year to your members and congregation. We also send our greetings from our church – Central Methodist Church in Batley, West Yorkshire (if they don’t know where Batley is’!!). Thank you and when next in St Anne’s we will make sure that revisit you.
