Stephen’s Letter, BBC Services & Readings week commencing 17th May

Dear All

I’m sure we were all disappointed that the Prime Minister’s statement last Sunday has not given us any real indication when we can expect to be able to go into church and we are clear social distancing is here to stay.

Well so is our weekly update and this week not only a reminder of the opportunity to see and hear familiar faces and voices where you are by joining with us in the study of Ruth but to be part of a much larger setting which some of you will remember as the Cliff College Anniversary Weekend, now Festival at Home as the Festival can come to you as you can’t go it.

Meet Ruth over coffee. We are looking to set up weekly house groups at different times of the day using Zoom to study the Book of Ruth over 4 weeks in June. If you are interested please get in touch with Judith or I by the 18th May so we can advise you about how to use Zoom, make sure you have the study materials and enrol you in a group. Contact details at the foot of the page or email Judith jp.smith185@btinternet.com.

Festival at Home You are invited to a free-to-access online festival from 7.15pm on Friday 22nd May – 10pm on Monday 25th May 2020.  Visit https://cliffcollege.ac.uk/cliff-festival/festival-2020  and follow the instructions. Free bible studies, worship, workshops, seminars, preaching and music straight to you where you are. There is also All age worship and activities each day.
