Church Activities Tuesday 13th – Thursday 15th March inc.

Tuesday 13th March Mens Group A.G.M. 2.15 for 2.30 pm.

Tea & biscuits at 2.15 pm. followed by meeting at 2.30.  Do come along with any suggestions that you may have for next year.

Wednesday 14th March, Ladies Fellowship 2.15 pm. Please note that this week’s meeting is at Church Road Methodist Church at the earlier time of 2.15 pm.

Friday Morning Coffee 10.30 – 12noon, March 9th

It’s Friday Again, that means coffee/tea & biscuits at The Drive.  It’s been a cold week so come and join us for warmth and fellowship.You will be very welcome whether you just call in for a quick cuppa or stay a while. The morning is very popular with our regulars, visitors and those on holiday. We get about 50 people so do come along and give it a try.

Morning Worship 10.30 am. Sunday 11th March, Mothering Sunday

Our ‘Mothering Sunday’ Worship (4th Sunday in Lent) is led by Rev Joan Edwell.

Organist Mr Nigel Ogden.

Do come along and join us for this service.  We would love to see you. Our congregation averages 60 – 70 but we always hope to increase that, so you are warmly invited.  Stay for coffee/tea, biscuits and fellowship in the Community Room after the service if you have the time.

We are always looking for new people to join our group, so do have the confidence to come along and give it a try.

Wednesday 7th; 2.30 pm Ladies fellowship. Glenis Markland, ‘Winter Sparkle’.

 

4pm Choir Rehearsal.

 

If you enjoy singing and would like to join the choir come along and speak to one of the members.

 

Thursday 8th March; 12 – 1pm Tai Chi, Gentle exercise for all.  Very popular.

The Drive Church Open Day 28th February.

Wednesday 28th       10.30 – 2.30 pm. Church Open Day. 

At 12pm a short Service. 

Followed by a light lunch.

Worship this Sunday (3rd Sunday in Lent).

 9.00 am. ’said’ Holy Communion  Led by Rev Dr Adrian Burdon.

This is a short 30 minute ‘said Communion Service led by our minister Rev Dr Adrian Burdon.

10.30 am. Morning Worship.  Service led by Rev Dr Adrian Burdon,

Organist Mr Ernest Beedle,

This is a longer service and includes hymn singing. It generally lasts just over the hour.  We have a congregation of between 60 – 70 at this service.

Join us for coffee/tea & biscuits in the Community Room after the service if you have the time.

Coffee Morning 10.30 – 12 on Friday 23rd February 2018

This is our regular coffee morning which is very popular.  If you are feeling a bit low why not come and join us in the Community Room.  You will be very welcome whether you are brave enough to come by yourself or with a friend.  Just call in or stay a while.  We generally have about 40 -50 friends, visitors and holiday makers so do give us a try.  Its warm and light, there’s plenty of ‘chatter’ and you can enjoy hot coffee/tea and biscuits with us.
