After the service on Pentecost Sunday some of our congregation celebrated the day sharing a ‘Jacob’s Join’ in the Church Hall.
We have had to have two of our broken stained glass windows looking onto the Eastbank Road Carpark replaced with new ones which exactly match the originals.

Since I first attended The Drive there has been a bench in the church gardens for the weary to rest in quiet contemplation.
At the start of our Easter Sunday Celebration each member of the congregation took a flower they had brought to church and went forward to place it on the cross to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus after His death by crucifixion.

We were pleased, on Tuesday this week, to welcome Class 2 at St. Anne’s College Junior School to The Drive.
In RE lessons they are exploring the features, similarities and differences in places of worship of different faiths. They have already visited a local Synagogue and Hindu Temple and their final visit is to a Mosque next week.
ALL ARE ALWAYS VERY WELCOME AT THE DRIVE
After this Sunday’s Worship we had the pleasure of celebrating a wonderful lady’s special birthday. Singing Happy Birthday and enjoying Birthday cake and coffee in the Community room.
Rev Adrian’s Welcome Service as superintendent of the Shaw/Royton Circuit took place On Wednesday 5th August 2018. Some from The Drive were there to support him. Rev Katy Cunliffe is vicar of Holy Trinity Shaw/ Children & Young Families Missioner in Oldham East.
Melbourne Road Methodist Church, Bolton, visited St Annes and The Drive for their church’s annual day out. After a day of enjoyable activity on the beach the day ended with hymns & songs in the church. The weather was ideal and everyone had a good day.
