District Chair’s Coastal Walk May 2019

Wed. 15th May.  District Chair’s Coastal Walk.  The Rev. Paul Davis, our District Chair, is walking the coastal strip of the Lancashire District. As part of this walk he will visit us at The Drive at Approx 10 am.

Worship Sunday 19th May at 10.30 am. Aldersgate Sunday

Worship this week includes Holy Communion and the Service is led by our minister Rev Stephen Heath.

Worship: World Church Sunday 12th May at 10.30am.

For this week’s World Church Sunday we are pleased to welcome Rev Val Ogden to lead our Morning Worship.

Revd Val Ogden was a  Mission Partner, in Fiji ( August 2014 –  August 2018) serving as a Director of Theological Education by Extension at the Pacific Theological College (PTC). Val  had previously served at the United Church of Zambia (where she was ordained) and her ministry has been exercised in broadcasting, in Methodist Circuits, in ecumenical appointments and in global mission education at Selly Oak and the Queen’s Foundation, Birmingham.

Friday Coffee Morning 10th May 10.30 – 12pm

We hope you can join us for our popular and busy coffee morning.

We would love to see you. If you haven’t been before give it a try, either just call in or stay a while. If you have the time browse Ernest & Eileen’s stall for that item you’ve always wanted but can never find – you might just be lucky!

This ‘said’ Communion lasts about 30 minutes.

10.30am. Morning Worship

This Service lasts about an hour. Our average congregation is around 70, though we are always looking to increase this, made up of regulars, visitors and holiday makers (many of the latter we are pleased to see whenever they are in St Annes).

Good Friday 19th April. Ecumenical Good Friday Service 11.00am

Easter Saturday Vigil 20th April 4pm.

A service of reflection between Good Friday and Easter Day.

Prayers and Readings for Easter and the lighting of the Easter Candle.

This was a popular service last year although not many people knew about it

Easter Sunday 21st April Morning Worship including Holy Communion 10.30 am
